Open House
On November 27 at 3.30 pm Rome time (6.30 am PT, 9.30 am ET) the Program of Church Management (PCM) hosted an online Open House to introduce the hard and soft skills provided by the Program. In fact, it has become increasingly apparent that globally the Church has fewer financial resources, and we should steward them better.
During the Open House, Fr. Robert Gahl (Vice Chair, Program of Church Management) and Fr. Anthony Stoeppel (Vice Rector and Director of Pastoral Year, St. Patrick's Seminary, CA) presented how PCM gives the formation necessary to serve the faithful effectively and use the temporal patrimony of the Church honestly, in conformity with the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
"Jesus spoke about money many, many times in the Gospels," - said Fr. Anthony during the Open House - "because money is something that all of us have. Therefore, if Jesus was talking about money a lot, we should be talking about money a lot."
