有些人未能看到貞潔的重要性。他們提出各種各樣的問題：
- 這標準似乎太嚴格了吧！
- 如果這為我們已夠難了，你怎能期望非基督徒能過貞潔的生活呢？
- 這不是我與天主之間的事嗎？
- 我們既在電視、直播、互聯網等媒體接觸到拙劣的資訊，教會怎能要求我們這樣去生活？
- 所有人都在婚前發生性行為，這有甚麼大不了？

這些問題都很有意思，我們希望在本書結尾時，你們能意識到人是因愛而受造的。年輕人擁有一股強大的愛的能力，他們渴望自我交付。他們值得找到真正的愛，而不是屈服於庸俗自私的慾望。

Some people don’t see the point [of purity]. They raise all kinds of questions:
- The standard seems so strict!
- How can non-Christians be expected to live chastity if it’s hard enough for us?
- Is this something between God and me?
- How can the Church ask us to live this way, given the trash we’re exposed to on TV, streaming, the Internet, and so on?
- Everyone’s having sex before marriage, what’s the big deal?

These are all good questions and hopefully by the end of this little book, you can realize that man was created out of love. Young people have a powerful capacity for love, and they long for the gift of self. They deserve to find true love, not succumb to vulgar selfish desires.
