The first meeting of the PhD Community of the Research Group "University and Catholic Identity"

On May 23, 2025, the first meeting of the PhD Community of the research group University and Catholic Identity was held.
The meeting took place online and was hosted by two professors from the group: Leonardo Franchi (University of Notre Dame, Australia) and Fr. Jose Maria La Porte (Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome, Italy).
The aim of the meeting was to provide PhD students with an opportunity to connect with one another and to discuss their academic research. Their principal areas of inquiry include the mission and governance of Catholic-inspired universities, leadership within communities of consecrated life, core curriculum topic in the African universities, or teachers’ perceptions of faith formation in Catholic schools, particularly in relation to formation for mission.
There were presented the following PhD students:
