The Christianity and Society Center, integrated in the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome) and the Confederation of Businessmen Coparmex (Mexico), are proposing a congress entitled “Common Memory and Collective Forgiveness”. The activity is sponsored by the Dicastery for Evangelization (Holy See) and will take place within the framework of the Jubilee activities for entrepreneurs in Rome, on May 6 and 7, 2025.

From February 19th to May 28th, 2025, every Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 4:40 PM, the Schools of Theology and Canon Law are organizing an optional course (3 ECTS) entitled Ecclesial Movements: A Journey of Faith. The Service of Ecclesiastical Law.

The course is divided into two parts: theological and magisterial foundations (identity, specific characteristics, mission, relationship of movements with particular Churches) and a juridical approach (canonical configuration of movements, legal status of members, governance and formation, prevention and correction of abuses).  

Participation is free for students from other Pontifical Universities, according to the terms of the mobility agreement between universities adhering to CRUIPRO.

The course will be held in person. Lecturers: Prof. Luis Navarro, Prof. Philip Goyret, Prof. Pilar Rio, Prof. Elisa Lisiero, Prof. Santiago Vigo.
